Spread the love

Ok, I’m ready to face a very difficult topic: shoes!

You know, I’m a mess with shoes…I’m not able to choose them, to match them, to wear them! And this is not just for high heels (they just don’t exist in my personal world) but with all types. I told you, I’m a mess!

But in last months, a model obsessed my mind: Valentino‘s slingbacks from Rockstud collection. I’m sure you know what I mean, but anyway I’ll explain you: this collection includes very different models, from flats to mini, midi and high heels and wedges with the same rock attitude. They are all pointed and studded, and the most of them have a stack of wristbands. My favourite ones are the mini and midi heels versions, for different reasons:

– for the first time wearing a mini-heels pair of shoes doesn’t make me look like an old aunt;

– points help me with my not-so-tiny feet;

– while a wristband makes the ankle look fat, a stack of them reduces this effect.

So I was looking for a lowcost version, and I found it on Deichmann but not in my size! 🙁 I was desperate…and then I found two very nice vintage pairs in my friend Iaia’s storage closet. One is in black leather and the other one in black suede, with two golden wristbands and mini-mini-mini heels. Love them!

They need to be renewed and fixed and then I’ll show you 😉

Here are some models from luxury brands or lowcost stores, and suggestions to match them: I find them perfect with boyfriend jeans on skinny ones, but also with short and pencil skirts. I can’t wait for your opinions :*
