Hello 🙂 How are you doing in this hot Saturday?
I’m home, waiting for this afternoon: another date with my boyfriend’s photographic exhibition 🙂
Meanwhile, I want to tell you what happened yesterday. While reorganizing an old garage, my cousin found some vintage treasures belonged to his aunt, and decided to give them to my mum, since we are a family with 3 women, all obsessed with accessories! And here they are: a long pearl necklace with a beautiful shiny lock, and a series of earrings with clips. I haven’t seen these kind of earrings since my grandmother passed away, and I’m so excited about that 🙂
Moreover, I keep doing research about handmade jewellery, and I found two interesting pages to suggest you! One is near to me, and the other is far:
– Pitturando: she is a girl from Palermo, the city where I study, and makes nice jewellery but is also a good painter! She is going to set up an exhibition tomorrow afternoon in Mondello’s promenade, but of course you can see all her creations on her facebook page.
– You Earth Ash: they are from Sheffield, and make wonderful jewellery with stones. I find them awsome, and warmly invite you to visit their page on facebook or instagram, or their website http://youearthash.tictail.com/

Io sono a casa, aspettando oggi pomeriggio: un’altra esposizione fotografica del mio fidanzato, sempre nella via dell’arte di Agrigento e sempre grazie all’Associazione Culturart. 🙂
Intanto, voglio raccontarvi cosa è successo ieri. Mentre risistemava un vecchio garage, mio cugino ha trovato dei tesori vintage appartenenti a sua zia, e ha deciso di regalarli a mia mamma dato che siamo una famiglia con 3 donne, tutte appassionate di accessori! Ed eccoli qui: una lunga collana di perle con una scintillante chiusura, e una serie di orecchini a clip. Non vedevo questo tipo di orecchini da quando mia nonna se n’è andata, e sono entusiasta di questo ritrovamento 🙂
In più, continuano le mie ricerche sull’handmade, e ho trovato due pagine interessanti da suggerirvi: una viene dalla mia regione, l’altra è più lontana:
